This time last week, reception team members Beth and Holly had a day out of practice to attend the British Veterinary Reception Association Congress 2023 in Solihull. The lecture programme covered a huge range of topics from enhancing client interactions, bereavement support, advice around wildlife queries and nutrition and joint information useful for reception team to know, to positive psychology training and stress management tips. It was a great opportunity to talk to suppliers from across the industry and to network with veterinary receptionists from across the country too. Both came back with armfuls of new posters and flyers for practice on Monday. We’re looking forward to hearing all about their experience in our team meetings and to passing on their learning to you!
