This is beautiful Ruby this morning after being discharged from further visits to the vets so she and her family can now re-plan their holiday! Poor Ruby was hit by a car on Good Friday and suffered a nasty gash on her back leg and ‘road burn’ on her tummy. She has been coming in every 2-3 days for wound checks and dressing changes, including the application of Manuka-honey soaked dressings to support recovery. Well done Ruby for being such a brave patient! We were delighted at this morning’s visit to confirm that all wounds have completely healed, but we will miss seeing your beautiful face in practice so regularly and your cuddles!

With the Christmas holidays fast approaching, this is just a reminder for owners with pets on long term meds, to check you have sufficient to see you over the festive break and into the early new year.
