It’s a really important responsibility and, with a single claim taking anywhere between 15 and 45 minutes to process, Sharon has ring-fenced time off rota each week specifically dedicated to managing pet insurance. With the Christmas holidays fast approaching, this is just a reminder for owners with pets on long term meds, to check you have sufficient to see you over the festive break and into the early new year. Last week, 387 Vets’ directors Hamish and Rachel Duncan attended the Vet Dynamics Annual Conference in Hinkley with other like-minded independent practices, for two days of interactive lectures, workshops, Q&As and panel presentations all targeted to help independent practices thrive. Hamish and Rachel have been part of Vet Dynamics since 2021, an organisation which coaches independent practices to improve their business performance, leadership skills and team culture.
The conference culminated on Friday night with an awards ceremony in recognition of independent practices within the Vet Dynamics’ Community that particularly shine. Hamish and Rachel were delighted to be finalists for a Dynamic Team Award for the third year running, and this year, to win! Here they are with their Vet Dynamics coach Gemma and a rather fantastic lightbulb trophy and certificate!
