Earlier in the year, we invited all of the 387 Vets and West Midlands Cat Clinic team to take part in our annual sunflower growing competition to help provide sustenance for pollinators and other wildlife this summer. People took home the same sunflower seed variety to see if they could be crowned our champion growers this year. Results are now out! Big congratulations to our vet Sam for producing the tallest sunflower at 3.06m, and to our Lead Receptionist Angie who grew the biggest flower at 30cm in diameter. Both have received garden centre vouchers, and all other competition entrants were given a packet of pollinator-friendly flower seeds to help attract the bees and the butterflies back again next summer!
