This January is a particularly exciting time for our Registered Veterinary Nurse Charlotte as she is expecting a baby who is due later this month. Those of us in work on Friday all gathered for a celebratory lunch to wish Charlotte well as she heads off on maternity leave.
We can’t wait to meet your little one! It won’t be so very long now until you and your husband become a family of three! Exciting times ahead!

This is fabulous Dairylea who came in to see us in what must be one of the most striking doggy coats we’ve seen this winter! We love it! As temperatures are starting to feel much more wintery, many dogs will benefit from an extra layer while they are out and about, especially if they are short-coated breeds like whippets, or if your dog is more senior in age as cold weather can exacerbate any joint pain.

Check e-mail and PetsApp communications from us on how to access if you haven’t already downloaded the app.
We’ll be open as normal from 3pm, and will respond to any PetsApp messages on our return from our off-site training.

As many of you know, every year we run a ‘Give a Pet a Christmas Dinner’ campaign to collect food and accessories for local cats and dogs in shelter. As it’s December, our 2024 Christmas collection is now live!
We’re collecting wet and dry pet food, treats, bedding, leads, collars, toys, feeding and water bowls – essentially anything that would be of benefit to pets less fortunate than our own this Christmas. We have a collection point on the ramp leading up to 387 Vets reception, and we also have a festive collection box in the foyer to the West Midlands Cat Clinic. The campaign runs right up until 31st December, and in January, we’ll distribute donations between local pet charities.
A huge thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Last year we collected over 100kg of dry food and over 500 sachets and tins of wet food, not to mention heaps of accessories to make life better for pets waiting for their new forever homes. Incredible! Let’s see if we beat that this year!
