The annual British Veterinary Receptionist Association Awards are now open! Pet owners (and team colleagues!) are invited to nominate individuals they feel have gone the extra mile, detailing the effort and dedication of their nominee. The awards are designed to champion veterinary receptionists and profile their demanding and diverse role.
If you would like to nominate a 387 Vets and West Midlands Cat Clinic team member, please click here. Closing date for nominations is 16th July. Three finalists will then be selected and invited to attend BVRA’s Annual Congress where the winner will be announced. Fingers crossed!
Our receptionists do an amazing job, meeting and greeting pets and owners, handling appointments and queries, carrying out initial triaging for appointment urgency, responding to PetsApp queries, processing payments, helping prepare medications, ensuring public areas in practice are clean, stocking up consult rooms, ensuring lab results are attached to pet histories, supporting clinicians with communication tasks as directed … the list goes on! We would be lost without our fabulous reception team who help to facilitate the smooth running of day to day practice and who ensure that your pet gets the clinical attention, support and advice they need and who show empathy, compassion and understanding to owners. Three cheers for Angie, Holly, Beth and Nikki!
